The existing power system at the well-known 18-story office building in the state capital, housing state agencies such as the California State Controller’s Office and the California Department of Insurance, was retrofitted to support EV chargers in the enclosed parking garage. The retrofit included the addition of nine (9) 7.2kW Level 2 EV Energy chargers powered by 208V-1Ø. The design scope included:
